Library Programs

Children’s Programs

  • Library LEGO Club: 2nd & 4th Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 pm | Come have fun with Legos! The library has lots of Legos for you to build your own creations. No experience needed–just bring your imagination.
  • Art Exploration: 1st & 3rd Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 pm | Join Ms. Michelle for creative art exploration. We will offer materials and let kids explore how to use them, with helpful hints if needed.
  • Thursday Morning Story Time: Every Thursday from 11:00-11:30 am | Join us for stories and songs with Ms. Michelle. Enjoy a fun way to interact with peers and develop early literacy skills.
  • Bedtime Stories: Every Other Tuesday from 6:00-6:30 pm | Children are invited to bring blankets and teddy bears and wear their PJs to snuggle in for a cozy, quiet Bedtime Stories. 

Adult Programs

  • Knitting Group: Every Tuesday from 11:30 am-1:00 pm | The knitting group meets weekly on Tuesday to knit, learn, or just enjoy the company of others interested in textile crafts.
  • Reading Group: 2nd Thursdays from 6:00-7:00 pm | July 11: “Death of Vishnu” by Manil Suri; August 8: “Rush Home Road” by Lori Lansens; September 12: “Curse of the Narrows” by Laura MacDonald.
  • Drop-In Technology Help: Every Wednesday from 1:00-3:00 pm | Stop by the Library for one-on-one technology help. We can teach you how to use your phones, laptops, and tablets–and how to navigate websites and social media.
  • 101 Series: 2nd Thursdays from 1:30-2:30 pm (April through September) | Lively, informative, interactive demonstrations from the practical to the creative. Pick up some basic how-to’s, then learn & explore on your own. Or, just satisfy your curiosity & have fun.
  • Philosophy Circle: 1st Fridays from 3:30-5:00 pm | A discussion group that meets monthly to explore philosophy through the ages and engage in philosophical conversation. No previous experience or knowledge is needed to participate!
